In the inventory settings, you can do a number of things:
- Control the out of stock behavior for your stores. You can prevent customers from adding products to cart if inventory on hand is out of stock. This option is only applicable to products that have inventory control enabled. Alternatively, you can choose to prevent customers from adding products to cart if supplier inventory is out of stock. This option is only applicable if you have enabled live ordering. Click here for instructions on how to configure out of stock behavior.
- View a list of on-hand products that have low inventory levels. Products are listed as having low inventory if inventory control is enabled and the inventory level is equal to or below the Low Stock Warning value that you specify in the product's Product SKU, GTIN & Inventory configuration page. If Purchase Ordering is enabled these products will also generate PO's when you are next doing purchase orders in Business Hub.
- Update the on-hand inventory levels and modify warning values of low on-hand inventory products. Click here for instructions.
- Export low on-hand inventory products to CSV for backorder. Click here for instructions.

Prerequisites
- You must have administrator permission to view and configure the inventory settings
To control the out of stock behavior for your stores:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Products.
- Select Inventory Settings.
The Inventory Settings page is displayed.
- Select an option from the Out of stock behavior dropdown list:
- Do nothing: Select this option if you want to allow customers to add out of stock products to cart.
- Do not allow adding to cart when inventory on hand is out of stock: Select this option if you want to prevent customers from adding products to cart that are out of stock on hand.
- Use supplier inventory settings when inventory on hand is out of stock: Select this option if you want to check supplier inventory levels when inventory on hand is out of stock and prevent customers from adding products to cart if supplier inventory is out of stock.
- Do not allow adding to cart when supplier inventory level at: This field allows you to specify the minimum supplier inventory level at which you want to allow customers to add products to cart. If the supplier inventory level is equal to or less than the specified amount, customers will not be able to add products to cart when using supplier inventory settings.
- Click Save.
To update the inventory levels and modify warning values of low inventory products:
If there are products listed in the Low Inventory Levels section, you will be able to update the inventory levels and change the warning values for those products directly on this screen.

- Product Code the style code of the product and name.
- Product Name the name of the product.
- Color the color of the product.
- Size the size of the product.
- SKU the unique identifying code of the product SKU.
- GTIN the Global Trade Item Number for the product.
- Inventory lets you modify the current inventory level.
- Warning lets you modify the inventory level at which a warning email will be sent to relevant team members informing them of low stock.
- Order To lets you modify the amount a purchase order will aim to restock the product to when inventory is low.
- On Order the total amount of stock currently on order for the product SKU. (The amount in brackets is the amount on order for stock keeping. The difference between the total on order and the amount on order for stock is the amount that is on order to fulfill a sales order).
- Change the value in the Inventory column for each product SKU that you want to update the inventory level for.
- Change the value in the Warning column for each product SKU that you want to modify the low stock level warning for.
- Change the value in the Order To column for each product SKU that you want to modify the restock level for.
- Click Save.
To export low inventory product levels to CSV:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Products.
- Select Inventory Settings.
- Click on the Export to CSV button.
- Select the Save File option in the Opening inventory.csv popup.
- Click OK.
