DecoNetwork may occasionally ask for a network log when troubleshooting an issue. Click the tabs below to read the instructions to generate a network log (HAR file) in the browser that you use.
Chrome
Firefox
Edge
To generate a HAR file in Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to the page where the issue is occurring.
- Look for the vertical ellipsis (three dots) button at the top right of your browser window and select More Tools > Developer Tools.
- From the panel that appears, select the Network tab.
- Check the box Preserve log.
- Click the clear button (crossed circle) to clear any existing logs from the network tab.
- Reproduce the issue while the network request recording is active.
- Click the download button (down arrow) in the network tab and save the file to your computer.
You can provide the saved HAR network log to DecoNetwork via support ticket.
To generate a HAR file in Firefox
- Open Firefox and go to the page where the issue is occurring.
- Look for the menu (three horizontal lines) button at the top right of your browser window and select More Tools > Web Developer Tools.
- From the panel that appears, select the Network tab.
- Press the options button (gear) and enable Persist Logs.
- Click the clear button (trash can) to clear any existing logs from the network tab.
- Reproduce the issue while the network request recording is active.
- Press the options button (gear) and choose Save All As HAR to save the file to your computer.
You can provide the saved HAR network log to DecoNetwork via support ticket.
To generate a HAR file in Edge
- Open Edge and go to the page where the issue is occurring.
- Look for the ellipsis (three dots) button at the top right of your browser window and select More Tools > Developer Tools.
- From the panel that appears, select the Network tab.
- Check the box Preserve log.
- Click the clear button (crossed circle) to clear any existing logs from the network tab.
- Reproduce the issue while the network request recording is active.
- Click the download button (down arrow) in the network tab and save the file to your computer.
You can provide the saved HAR network log to DecoNetwork via support ticket.
