404 is an HTML error code that means that the server could not find the web page you were looking for. The typical trigger for a 404 error is when a page has been deleted or moved. When your customers click on a link to a page that can't be found, the broken link redirects to a 404 error page. You can customize the default 404 page as you like.
Prerequisites
- You must have administrator or web developer access to use this feature
To customize the 404 error page:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Websites.
- Select Manage for the website you want to configure.
- Select Edit Website, then Website Pages.
The Website Editor will load in the Admin area.
- Click on the PAGES button in the Website Editor Toolbar.
- Click on the + icon at the left of the Others tab to expand the Others pages menu.
- Click on the Search Results page tab.
The 404 error page is displayed in the Content Area of the Website Builder.
- Customize the page.
You can customize the page heading by selecting the text and overwriting it.
You can adjust the page layout. See the article, Editing Your Page Layout, for instructions.
You can add content to the page by adding widgets. See the articles under the section, Adding and Configuring Widgets, for information about each widget.
- Click on the Save button and then click on the Publish button at the right of the Page Settings Bar.
