Conversion tracking is the measure of the effectiveness of your campaigns in prompting desired customer activity, such as website purchases, phone calls, and newsletter signups. DecoNetwork supports Google AdWords conversion tracking and other forms of conversion tracking using a generic conversion tracking code snippet. See Google AdWords conversion tracking for more information.
Setting up Google Adword Tracking will help you determine how successful your Google ads, keywords, and campaigns are at converting to sales. Sales conversions are tracked by analyzing a cookie on the purchaser's system at the end of the checkout process to see how they arrived at your site.
You can also use generic conversion tracking to track using other methods such as Facebook Ads. Do this by adding a snippet of code in the Generic conversion tracking code section.
- You must have administrator or web developer access to use this feature
- You must have a Google AdWords account with conversions defined
To use Conversion Tracking:
- Log into your DecoNetwork website.
- If you are the Fulfillment Center, browse to Admin > Websites.
Select for the website you want to configure.
- Click SEO Tools, then click Conversion Tracking.
- Configure the conversion tracking settings.
If you are using Google AdWords to send traffic to your site, you must enter your Google Ads conversion tracking ID in order to track purchase conversions.
You can also enter a unique label that is associated with your purchase conversion in your Google AdWords account.
You can choose to embed Google Ads conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (gtag) by ticking the 'Embed conversion tracking snippet using Google Tag Manager format' checkbox.
To locate your tracking ID and label:
- Log in to your Google AdWords account.
- Click the Tools tab and select "Conversions" from the drop-down.

If you are adding conversion tracking code from anywhere other than Google AdWords, you can make use of the Conversion tracking code field.
