Blank Products are items that do not come with any decorations, prints, or personalization. They are in essence, base products that your customers can start with and decorate with text and designs using the Online Designer. The Select Blank Products screen lets you specify which blank products and/or categories available in the fulfillment center catalog are visible for customers in your store. By default all blank products are visible. The option to choose which products are visible gives you control over your product offerings, allows you to market to target audiences, strengthens your brand image, optimizes inventory management, reduces the overall complexity of running your store, and enhances customer experience. NOTE: This option simply hides products/categories in the store front it does not change their availability in other parts of the system. Control over the availability of a product across the fulfillment center can be set in the main Admin area. (See Products Availability for details).
Prerequisites
- You must have administrator or web developer access to use this feature
To set blank product visibility:
- Log into your DecoNetwork website.
- Browse to Admin > Websites.
- Select Manage for the website you want to configure.
- Click Store Configuration, then Select Blank Products.
The Blank Products Selector will be visible.
- Untick the I want all blank products to be visible checkbox to enable the blank product selection checkboxes.
- Untick the checkboxes of the categories or individual products that you do not want available for sale. Ensure that the checkboxes for the products that you do want available for sale are ticked.
