You can apply a Distress Effect to the template design using a raster image contained in the template. The Distress Effect filter will convert the image into a transparent filter making the template design appear faded and worn.
Prerequisites
- You must have administrator access to use this feature
To apply a distressed effect to an image in the Template Builder:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Stock Designs.
- Select Stock Designs List.
- Click the Add Design button in the Breadcrumb & Action bar and click Create Template from the drop-down menu.
The Template Builder app is loaded in the window.
- Insert two of the same design into the design canvas in the same position.

- Select the design object you wish to add the distress effect to by:
- Clicking on the design object in the design canvas.
- Clicking on the design object in the Layers list in the left panel.
The Layer Properties for the design will appear in the Properties panel on the right side of the Template Builder.
- If not already expanded, click on the Layers tab in the left panel to expand it.
The Layers tab expands to show all the objects contained in the design.
- Click on the Distress Effect icon beside one of the designs.
The image will be converted to a distressed effect filter.
- Click on Save & Edit in the Title Bar when done.
