Merging layers is an action that involves combining two or more vector layers into a single layer. This can be useful for simplifying the structure of a design or for applying certain effects to multiple objects simultaneously.
Prerequisites
- You must have administrator access to use this feature
To merge layers in the Template Builder:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Stock Designs.
- Select Stock Designs List.
- Click the Add Design button in the Breadcrumb & Action bar and click Create Template from the drop-down menu.
The Template Builder app is loaded in the window.
- Add images and text to the design area and position them as required.

- If not already expanded, click on the Layers tab in the Arrange Panel to expand it.
The Layers tab expands to show all the objects contained in the design.
- Hold down the Ctrl key and click on each layer you want to be merged.
- Click on the Merge Selected Layers button.
Objects from each of the selected layers will be merged into a single layer.
- Click on Save & Edit in the Title Bar when done.
