Clone layers in the Template Builder

Cloning layers involves creating an identical copy of all objects in an existing layer onto a new layer. This is useful for replicating objects, to make variations to them without altering the original.

Prerequisites

• You must have administrator access to use this feature

To clone a layer in the Template Builder:

1. Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
2. Browse to Admin > Stock Designs.

   

   

3. Select Stock Designs List.
   
4. Click the Add Design button in the Breadcrumb & Action bar and click Create Template from the drop-down menu.
   

   The Template Builder app is loaded in the window.

   
5. Add images and text to the design area and position them as required.

6. If not already expanded, click on the Layers tab in the Arrange Panel to expand it.

   The Layers tab expands to show all the objects contained in the design.

   
7. Click on the layer(s) you want to clone.

   Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple layers.

8. Click on the Clone Selected Layers button.
   
9. Click on Save & Edit in the Title Bar when done.
