This article applies to the Premium and Enterprise plans, which allow a Fulfillment Center to run a network of Affiliate stores. If you are on the Standard plan, you can skip this article for now: you will not have Affiliates, and every setting in DecoNetwork applies to your own store only.

What is an Affiliate?
An Affiliate is anyone who sells your products through their own DecoNetwork store, other than you, the Fulfillment Center. Every Affiliate store, including your own Fulfillment Center's main store, inherits its basic configuration from the Fulfillment Center it is connected to.
A store becomes an Affiliate store in one of two ways:
- Someone signs up for their own store using a "Create your own store!" link on your website
- Someone signs up for a promotional store using a "Create your own online campaign" link, a special type of Affiliate store used for time-limited promotions

What can an Affiliate do?
When an Affiliate logs in to their own store, they can access their own configuration by clicking Admin. From there, they can:
- Change the look and feel of their store
- Set their own wholesale to retail markup on the products they sell
- Choose which products to sell, from the range you have made available to them
- Configure store designs, decorated products, custom domain, and some Designer settings for their own store
An Affiliate cannot set anything that belongs to you as the Fulfillment Center, such as decoration processes or sales commission rates. They can only ever offer a subset of what you, the Fulfillment Center, have made available to them.
How Affiliates earn money
An Affiliate earns a sales commission, calculated as a percentage of the recommended retail price (RRP), for every product they sell through their store. For a full breakdown of how commission rates, markups, and pricing interact, see How Pricing and Commission Works.
