DecoNetwork allows you to create and manage Color Palettes that control which colors customers can select when designing products in the online designer. Properly configured palettes help ensure design accuracy, production consistency, and brand compliance across all decoration processes.

Prerequisites
- You must have Administrator access
- At least one decoration process is enabled
Why Use Color Palettes
Color palettes define the colors that customers can use when customizing products. They help you maintain production accuracy and protect your brand standards.
- Improve production accuracy by matching approved thread, ink, or embellishments.
- Reduce artwork revisions caused by unsupported colors.
- Maintain brand consistency for corporate or team stores.
- Simplify ordering by limiting choices to validated options.
Accessing Color Palettes
- Log into your DecoNetwork website.

Go to Admin → Decoration Processes.

- Select the decoration process you want to configure: (DTG Printing, Sublimation, Embroidery, Screen Printing, Transfer, Rhinestone, DTF Printing, or UV Printing).

Select Color Palettes.

The Color Palettes management screen is displayed in the main work area. This page displays all system and custom palettes available in your account.
Create a New Color Palette
You can manually build a palette by selecting and naming individual colors.

Click Add Palette.
The Add Palette popup will be displayed.
- Choose an option:

Use System Palette makes the pre-defined Standard Colors system palette available for use without further configuration. The Standard Colors palette is a broad selection of 80 colors.
The exception to this is for embroidery where several industry-standard palettes are available and can be selected from the Base palettes used dropdown box. From here, select the specific palettes to load.
- Create empty palette will create an empty palette in the palette list which you can later edit. Give the palette a name and click OK.
- Copy existing palette will make a copy of a selected palette and it will be named as per your entry into the Name box. Select a palette from the Palette dropdown box.

Import a Color Palette
Instead of creating palettes manually, you can import existing color lists.
Supported File Types
- CSV files – Custom color lists
- Thread chart files – Industry embroidery standards
To Import a Palette

Click Import Palette.
The import settings will be loaded, allowing you to import an existing color palette for customers to use on your website.
Due to licensing requirements, DecoNetwork is not able to distribute many industry-standard palettes, but these can often be found with a bit of Googling! If you find a good one you want to use, save it to your device then click Import Palette.

Choose your Palette source:

CSV file: The file must be in the format of Cyan value (%),Magenta value (%),Yellow value (%),Black value (%),Red value (0-255),Green value (0-255),Blue value (0-255),Name where Name is the name of the color, and each line is a new color. If there is no RGB or CMYK set of values, leave them blank. Industry-standard palettes are often available for download from the Internet. Example:

Wilcom .TCH thread chart Embroiderers may select .TCH files as an alternative to CSV. The expected columns for a TCH file are Code, Palette Name, Color Name, A, Red value (0-255), Green value (0-255), Blue value (0-255). Example:

Note: The Code value is only applicable for thread charts. It is used by embroiderers to identify the exact thread required.

- Configure the Import Options:
- Enter a name for your palette in the Palette name field
- Click Browse to choose a source file for the import.
- Click Save.
Configure Palette Options
The Palette Options settings determine whether the color slider appears in the Designer’s color picker and how it behaves.

Allow color slider in color picker window controls whether a sliding color picker tool is available in the Online Designer. This tool enables customers to select custom colors for their decorations. When this checkbox is selected, additional settings will appear, letting you specify when the color slider should be displayed:

All Stores allows you to make the color slider available to every store in your DecoNetwork system. If the checkbox is unchecked, the Select Store link will become active, allowing you to choose which specific stores can access the color slider.
Clicking on the Select Stores link opens the Select Stores popup.
- Open the Color Palette first if the current color is a palette color: this option will show the color palette when the color picker window is first open if the currently selected color is a palette color.
- Always open the Color Palette first: this option will always show the color palette first when the color picker window is open.
- Always open the Color Slider first: this option will always show the color slider first when the color picker window is open.

Manage Existing Palettes
You can edit, rename, or delete palettes at any time.
Managing Palettes
The Palettes section shows a list of existing palettes This includes system palettes and custom palettes you have added previously.

Click Manage next to the palette you want to update.
Edit a Palette
- Select the palette.
- Click Edit.
- Set the default color and, if it is a custom palette, add. rename remove or modify colors as needed..
- Click OK.
Rename a Palette
- Select the palette.
- Click Rename.
- Enter a new name for the palette.
- Click OK.
Delete a Palette
- Select the palette.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
Export a Palette (Custom palette only)
- Select the palette.
- Click Export.
Control Palette Availability
Use the All Stores checkbox to control which affiliate stores in your DecoNetwork system can access each color palette.
- Choose how the color palette should be made available:

All stores
Leave the All Stores checkbox ticked to make the color palette available to every store.

Selected stores only

Untick the All Stores checkbox.
The Select Stores link will appear, allowing you to choose which stores the color palette will be available in.

Click on the Select Stores link.
The Select Stores popup window opens.
- Select the store groups where the color palette should be available, or click Add Store to choose individual stores.

- Save your settings.
