Stock design collections are pre-made bundles of designs offered for use to decorate products in DecoNetwork. These collections include designs created by DecoNetwork as well as those provided by third parties. Offering a diverse array of designs, these collections can be easily integrated into your DecoNetwork system, enhancing your product offerings without the need to create custom designs from scratch.
Some of these collections are available for free, allowing businesses to access a variety of designs at no additional cost. Other collections operate on a pay-per-use basis, where you pay a fee each time a design from the collection is used in a product. This model is beneficial for businesses that want to offer a diverse array of designs without committing to a large upfront investment. Additionally, there are collections that require a monthly subscription. This subscription model typically provides access to a broader or higher-quality selection of designs.
When incorporating stock design collections into your DecoNetwork system, you have the flexibility to select which collections align with your brand and customer preferences. This customization ensures that you can offer unique and appealing products to your customers, enhancing your competitive edge in the market. By leveraging these pre-made design bundles, you can save time and resources while expanding your product catalog and meeting the diverse tastes of your customer base.
Prerequisites
- You must have administrator access to use this feature
To add Stock Design Collections to your DecoNetwork system:
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Stock Designs.
- Select Stock Design Collections.
The main work area contains the configuration options for stock designs.
- Configure the price settings.
The Stock design markup field allows you to add a percentage-based markup to the "Per Use" fees charged for the use of a design.
- Select the design collections that you want to add.
Design collections are grouped by the parties that provide them.
By ticking a checkbox next to a collection name and saving, you make the collection available for use on your site. You will be automatically invoiced if there are any associated fees.
Fees
The column, YOUR FEE PER MONTH, lists the cost that you incur for using the collection. If a price is listed, this is what you will be charged per month if the collection is enabled. If "Per Use" is shown in this column, this means that you will only incur a cost each time a design from this collection is used in an order. Click the "Per Use" link to reveal the prices charged for each use of a design in the collection.
Fees are charged based on the quantity of products that are decorated using a single design from the collection.
- The Item price row shows the cost to you, within each quantity breakdown, for the use of a single design.
- The Markup row shows the markup value, within each quantity breakdown, for the use of a single design.
- The Store price row shows the price the consumer will be charged, within each quantity breakdown, for the use of a single design.
Consumer Price Per Use
If the fee for a collection is charged per month, you can specify a flat price to charge the customer for using a design from the collection. The price field in the CONSUMER PRICE PER USE column will become enabled once you tick the checkbox next to a collection name.
If the fee for a collection is charged per use, the system will automatically calculate the consumer price using the markup percentage that you specify under Price settings and show it in the CONSUMER PRICE PER USE column.
- Optionally specify the CONSUMER PRICE PER USE for the enabled design collections that charge a monthly fee.
- Click Save or Save and Continue when done.
