Understanding the Error Message "A product has been chosen that cannot be decorated because it does not have the correct color type"

What does the error message mean?

The error message indicates that a product cannot be decorated because it does not meet the color type requirements set by the smart select rules in the decoration process. Manually added supplier products and copies of supplier products are subject to smart select rules by default.

What are smart select rules?

Smart select rules are criteria set within the decoration processes to determine whether a product is suitable for decoration. These rules include specifications such as color type, material type,  weave, finish, stretchability, the presence of buttons and pockets, and patterns.

Why am I encountering this error message

There are two possible reasons for encountering this error message:

• The color type of the product(s) chosen for the selected decoration process is incorrectly set.
• The smart select rules for the selected decoration process are incorrectly configured.
