Quotes play a vital role in streamlining your sales process by allowing you to provide detailed pricing and order information before a purchase is confirmed. Over time, your system may accumulate outdated, test, or duplicate quotes that are no longer relevant to your workflow. Cleaning up these entries not only keeps your records organized but also helps your team focus on active opportunities.
This article explains how to delete quotes in Business Hub, including Draft quotes, Live (issued) quotes, and Test Mode quotes. Unlike orders, live quotes can be deleted. This guide will walk you through how to identify and safely delete unnecessary quotes within your DecoNetwork admin area.

Prerequisites
- You must have Administrator, Sales Manager, or Sales Team permission to manage quotes.
- The quote is Draft, Live (issued), or was created in Test Mode.
Why you might delete a quote
Deleting quotes helps keep your pipeline tidy and avoids noise in follow-ups when a quote is no longer needed. This is safe because quotes have not recorded revenue or fulfilled production.
- Reduce clutter: Remove abandoned or duplicate quotes so teams focus on active opportunities.
- Avoid mistaken follow-ups: Prevent automated or manual follow-ups on quotes you no longer intend to pursue.
- Test data cleanup: Quickly remove training or test quotes created during onboarding or process checks.
Step 1: Locate the quote
- Log into your DecoNetwork website.
- Go to Business Hub → Quotes.
- Use the search/filters to find the Draft, Live, or Test Mode quote you want to delete.

3 Delete Quote Action
Tip: The exact delete option you see—such as “Delete Draft Quote” versus “Delete Quote Request”—depends on the status of the quote (e.g., Draft, Live/Issued, or Test Mode).
- Click YES to confirm you want to delete the quote when prompted.
The quote is removed from lists and related follow-ups.
Best-Practice Tips
- Cancel vs delete: If you want to keep a history, consider marking the quote as canceled instead of deleting.
- Housekeeping: Periodically clear test/training quotes to keep reporting meaningful.
- Notes first: If a quote contains useful info (pricing rationale, artwork notes), copy it to your CRM or order notes before deletion.
Troubleshooting
- Converted quote: If the quote was converted to an order, it will no longer be available in the Quotes List. Manage the order instead - it will have the same number as the original quote.
