Video Widget

DecoNetwork's Website Builder makes it easy to enhance your website with engaging multimedia content with the Video Widget. The Video Widget allows you to add a video to your website page. You can add videos from Vimeo or YouTube. Both YouTube Shorts format and standard video formats are supported. Adding a video widget allows you to showcase your products, demonstrate techniques, or simply connect with your audience through dynamic visual content. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps of adding a video widget to your DecoNetwork website.

To add a Video Widget to your website:

1. Click on the WIDGETS button in the Website Editor Toolbar.
2. Browse the Widgets tab to locate the Video Widget you want in the MEDIA section.
   
3. Click and drag the Video Widget onto your website page.

   Allowable areas a Video Widget can be inserted into include:

   • Within rows
   • Within columns
   • Above or below existing widgets
   • Between existing widgets

   The Video Settings popup will be displayed.

   
4. Configure the Properties for the Video Widget.
   • Video Type: lets you specify the source of the video:
     • YouTube
     • Vimeo
   • Link: lets you specify the URL of the video.
   • Aspect Ratio: lets you choose the proportion between the width and height of the video container. Available options are:
     • 3:2
     • 4:3
     • 16:9
     • 9:16 (Aspect ratio for Youtube shorts)
   • Autoplay: ticking the checkbox will make the video play automatically when the page is loaded.
   • Loop: ticking the checkbox will make the video start over again, every time it is finished.
   • Show Controls: ticking the checkbox will show the controls for the video player.
   • Show Title: displays the title of the video at the top of the video.
   • Show Fullscreen option: displays the control for enabling full-screen mode for viewing the video.
   • Show Related Videos: will display related videos available for viewing on the video screen once the video has finished playing.
   • Hide YouTube Logo: ticking the checkbox will hide the YouTube logo on videos from YouTube.
   • Progress Bar Color: lets you choose a color for the video progress bar. Available options are:
     • Red
     • White
5. Click OK to apply the changes.
6. Click on the Save button and then click on the Publish button at the right of the Page Settings Bar.
