What the Sales Goal Widget does
The widget lets you define a goal window (start/end dates), pick a goal type, and display a progress bar that updates as qualifying orders are placed.
Example: Sales Goal progress bar on a live page.
Why use this feature?
The Sales Goal Widget turns your target into a visible, shared objective that customers can rally around. Using it effectively:
- Motivates customers to take action by showing clear progress toward a goal (e.g., “Help us reach $5,000!”).
- Builds urgency and excitement for time-limited campaigns by pairing a visible progress bar with a defined end date.
- Improves transparency for fundraisers so supporters can see how their orders contribute toward the overall target.
- Gives store owners quick insight into campaign performance without needing to run reports in Business Hub.
- Encourages repeat visits and sharing as customers come back to check progress and share the campaign link with others.

- Refresh date windows: For ongoing or rolling campaigns, update the Start/End dates regularly.
Troubleshooting
The Sales Goal progress is not updating
- Confirm the Start Date and End Date include the date the order was placed.
- Verify the order has a valid payment status. Orders in Saved or Payment Requested do not count toward the goal.
- Check that the selected Sales Goal Type (Number of Orders, Store Earnings, or Total Revenue) matches what you expect to track.
The widget appears on the page but shows zero progress
- Ensure at least one qualifying order has been placed after the widget was configured.
- If you recently changed the goal type or date range, click Save and Publish the page again.
- Confirm the widget is not duplicated on the page with a different configuration.
The widget does not display on my live site
- Make sure the page has been Published (not just saved).
- Check that the widget is not hidden by page-level visibility rules or device-specific settings.
- Clear your browser cache or refresh the page to load the latest version.
The numbers don’t match my Business Hub reports
- Remember that the widget only counts orders placed within the configured date range.
- Store Earnings reflects affiliate commission based on markup – not total order value.
- Refunded or invalid orders may be excluded from the widget’s progress calculation.
Which orders count toward the Sales Goal?
Only valid, paid orders placed within the configured Start and End Dates are included. Orders in Saved or Payment Requested status are excluded.
Can I run multiple Sales Goals at the same time?
Yes. You can add multiple Sales Goal widgets to the same page or different pages, each with its own goal type, date range, and design settings.
Does the Sales Goal Widget update in real time?
The widget updates automatically as qualifying orders are placed, though short delays may occur depending on payment processing and page caching.
Can I change the goal after the campaign has started?
Yes. You can edit the goal amount, date range, and goal type at any time. Changes take effect once you Save and Publish the page.
Is the Sales Goal Widget visible to customers?
Yes. The widget is designed to be customer-facing and helps motivate purchases by clearly displaying progress toward your target.
Can I hide the progress bar but keep the goal text?
The progress bar is a core part of the widget. If you want minimal visibility, use the Design tab to style it subtly to match your page layout.
