Why restore a previously published website
Restoring a previously published version gives you confidence to make updates without risk. Every publish action creates a backup, allowing you to quickly roll back visual or layout changes if something doesn’t look right.
These snapshots act as retained restore points for the website’s visual state. When you restore a snapshot, DecoNetwork applies the selected published version back to the website so the site can continue from that known layout and styling configuration.
- Undo unwanted layout or styling changes
- Recover from CSS or HTML mistakes
- See who published each version for accountability
- Safely experiment with design changes
- Preserve important restore points before major website updates

- Check who published a version if unexpected changes appear.
- Test visual updates knowing you can safely restore a previous version.
Troubleshooting
I don’t see any previously published versions
The site must be published at least once before versions appear. Publish the site to start version tracking.
A version I expected to see is no longer visible
The restored site doesn’t include product changes
This is expected behavior. Website version restore does not affect products or catalogs.
My CSS or HTML changes disappeared
Restoring a version also restores the CSS and HTML that existed at the time of publishing. Any custom code added after the restored snapshot was created will no longer be included in the active website layout.
