Prerequisites
- You have Admin access or Web Developer permission for your DecoNetwork account
- Your website must have at least one page with subpages
Why configure dropdown menus?
Dropdown menus help customers quickly navigate your store and discover products. By customizing how they display, you can improve usability and highlight key product categories.

Step 1: Ensure your page has subpages
Dropdown menus are only available for navigation items that have subpages.
- Go to Admin → Websites
- Click Manage on your website
- Go to Edit Website → Website Pages → Pages
- Locate a parent page (e.g., T-Shirts)
- Ensure it has subpages (e.g., Men’s, Women’s, Youth)

Step 2: Choose the dropdown menu style
You can control how your dropdown menu displays using the Dropdown menu setting.
- In your Website Editor, go to Design → Page Options
- Locate the Dropdown menu setting
- Select one of the following options:
- Hide: No dropdown menu is displayed
- Simple: Displays subpages as a basic text list
- Content Width: Expands the menu to match your content width
- Specify Width: Allows you to define a custom width
- Page Width: Expands the menu across the full page (ideal for mega menus)
- Click Save

Step 3: Customize dropdown menu content
When using any option other than Hide or Simple, you can fully customize the dropdown content using drag-and-drop panels.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page editor
- Locate the Dropdown menu section
- Select the parent page with subpages (e.g., T-Shirts)
- Add layout structure (e.g., multiple columns)
- Drag and drop content panels such as:
- Blank Product Category Listing
- List of Links
- Other content widgets
- Configure each panel (e.g., choose categories like T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Accessories)
- Use Clone to duplicate layouts and quickly build out additional sections

- Keep menus organized. Avoid overcrowding with too many items
- Use consistent category naming for clarity
- Leverage mega menus for large product catalogs
- Test your menu on desktop and mobile for usability
