Control which shipping methods, product groups, blank products, payment methods, and rush order fees are available on a specific affiliate store using Store Permissions, instead of editing each shipping method or account-wide setting individually. Once configured, DecoNetwork retains these overrides and applies them automatically wherever that store's checkout and orders are handled, both on the website and in Business Hub.

Prerequisites
- You must have Administrator access.
- This feature is only available on multi-store plans.
- The shipping methods, product groups, blank products, payment methods, and rush order fees you want to control must already be configured at the account level.
Why use this feature?
You can already turn a shipping method on or off by editing it directly under Settings, but if several shipping methods, product groups, or payment options need adjusting for just one store, that means opening each one individually. Store Permissions brings all of these into a single page per store, so you can allow or deny what that store can use in one place, without touching the underlying settings that apply everywhere else.
- Adjust multiple options for one store without editing each setting separately
- Keep account-wide defaults intact while making store-specific exceptions
- Apply overrides consistently across both the website and Business Hub
- Reduce the risk of missing a shipping method or product group when restricting a store
Step 1: Open Store Permissions
- Log in to your DecoNetwork website.
- Browse to Admin → Websites.
- Click Manage beside the store you want to configure.
- Select Administration → Permissions.
Opening the Permissions page for a store.
Step 2: Set Shipping Method Availability for the Store
- From the menu on the left, select Shipping Methods.
- For each shipping method listed, choose Default, Allow, or Deny.
- Click Save.
Setting shipping method availability for a single store.
Once saved, only the shipping methods you've allowed, or left as an enabled default, appear when a customer checks out on this store or when staff create a quote or order for this store in Business Hub. The shipping method's own settings are left untouched everywhere else.
Step 3: Control Other Store Options from the Same Page
- From the same left-hand menu, select Product Groups, Blank Products, Payment Methods, Rush Order Fees, or Coupons.
- Set each item to Default, Allow, or Deny, the same way as shipping methods.
- Click Save.
Best Practices
- Use Permissions when several shipping methods, product groups, or payment options need adjusting for one store. Edit a shipping method's own Availability settings when the change should apply the same way across many stores.
- Leave items on Default unless a specific store genuinely needs an exception, so most stores keep following your account-wide settings automatically.
- Review Permissions after adding a new shipping method, product group, or payment method, since new items may need an explicit Allow or Deny on stores with unusual requirements.
Troubleshooting
Problem: A shipping method still shows up on a store after being turned off.
Cause: The shipping method's own Availability settings and this store's Permissions entry may be set inconsistently, or Permissions is still set to Default while the master setting still allows it.
Solution: Check both the shipping method's own Availability tab under Admin → Settings → Shipping → Shipping Methods and this store's Permissions page, then set the store's entry to Deny explicitly.
Problem: The Permissions page isn't available for a store.
Cause: This feature is only available on multi-store plans.
Solution: Confirm your subscription plan includes multi-store functionality.
Problem: A newly added shipping method or product group isn't showing up as an option in Permissions.
Cause: It may not be fully configured and saved at the account level yet.
Solution: Confirm the item is properly set up under its own settings page first, then return to Permissions.
FAQs
What's the difference between editing a shipping method directly and using Permissions?
Editing a shipping method directly changes its availability everywhere it's configured to apply, which is useful when the same rule should apply broadly. Permissions lets you override availability for shipping methods and other options on a single store without touching the shipping method's own settings, which is useful when only that one store needs an exception.
What does Default mean versus Deny?
Default follows whatever your Fulfillment Center has set as the master availability for that item. Allow or Deny explicitly overrides that default for this specific store.
What else can I control from the Permissions page besides shipping methods?
Product Groups, Blank Products, Payment Methods, Rush Order Fees, and Coupons, all from the same Default, Allow, or Deny interface.
Do Permissions changes apply to Business Hub as well as the website?
Yes. Once configured, these overrides apply consistently wherever that store's checkout and orders are handled, both on the website and in Business Hub.
