Website images should be WEBP format
Under ConsiderationLiving in an ecomm world, the images on the website should be able to be loaded as WEBP or converted by your programming for better optimization. JPEG and PNG are large file formats that do not optimize through search engines and slow down the site's loading time, lowering the confidence ranking of the site.

I have personally reached out to the Deco Team and suggested they use www.tinypng.com where they can run the images through in masses rather than one at a time to reduce the file sizes. it is really cheap to buy the tool.
