Decoration process in group settings
AnsweredThere should be an override for decoration process in the group settings. It doesn't make sense to have to go into each item individually to allow a process. I would like to allow a process and it automatically be on (or off) for those items in the group.

Hey Timothy Pipp products already follow the configured methods based on a) the processes enabled on the product group they are assigned to b) the configured Smart Select rules for each process and c) the selected processes for each decoration area in the global areas list. Of course this requires the product to not have been switched to manual processes selection and custom area configuration.

We switched to manual because the decoration areas are not accurate. What would happen if we switched back? Would that mess up all of the decoration areas?
I understand the feature but this makes sense to be able to override for a new decoration process - or its not worth adding new processes. I would have to imagine a lot of the long time users have set it to manual for the same reason we have.

Timothy Pipp you can make changes to decoration areas without switching to manual process selection by creating new area definitions first. I will raise a support ticket on your behalf to provide some details.
