International Currency Options
Under ConsiderationOur company's specific scenario that is causing grief is the fact that we are wanting to sell to Canada and the USA only, however right now its the most convoluted process of all time and feels like an oversight in the user experience.
Currently the options are:
1 - have 2 deconetwork accounts with identical websites, meaning we basically need to pay twice as much, and without any way of copying an entire site over to the new account this is super tedious and annoying
2 - The front-end currency selector, which changes back to the website's native currency once the item is in the cart (which is extremely confusing and misleading to customers) and also does not allow to natively select the currencies we want to show - in order to limit the available currencies you need to hire someone to add custom Javascript to limit the options. Not to mention that this gives us no control over what the international prices actually are as it's just an automatic conversion which completely ignores potential increase in production and shipping to/from the USA.
Can we please have a better option than this?? To my knowledge Shopify allows you to upload price sheets for different currencies to allow you to choose your own prices for specific currencies - can we do something like that too? It's 2023 let's get with the times.
