ISSUE: Challenges in Establishing Clear & Simple Pricing for Bundled Deals***** SOLUTION & HELP REQUESTED: Option to exclude Artwork Fee applied on Bundled Products only
Under ConsiderationBased on our research, it's evident that the UK personalised workwear market thrives on bundled deals, which are heavily promoted with straightforward pricing to entice customers. These bundles typically come with zero artwork and application fees, making them particularly attractive for consumers. However, DecoNetwork currently lacks the seamless capability to offer bundle products as effectively as our competitors. While we can manage with the suggested workaround, there's a significant challenge in setting up a simple pricing structure.
Support team's suggested workaround involves adjusting the bundle product price lower and then allowing the addition of the artwork fee separately to meet the required bundle price. For instance, if the required bundle price is £100, where the artwork fee is £20, the product price could be marked at £80. However, this workaround presents two major issues:
-
1. It doesn't align with our goal of setting embroidery prices based on stitch count, and it overlooks the variation in artwork fees between embroidery and print setups. Applying a flat artwork fee across all product lines and decoration methods isn't the ideal solution.
-
2. Reusing an existing artwork in file from a previous order means missing out on potential profit, as demonstrated in the example where £20 could have been easily gained.
The above issue can easily be overcome if there was an option to exclude the Artwork Fee applied on Bundled Products only (within the existing workaround where bundles are created as a single product).
You can verify the prevalence of workwear bundles and their straightforward pricing by conducting a Google search for "personalised workwear."
