Convert quote/order to webstore

A much simpler way to build a webstore would be to enter all the info in as a quote and then convert that to a webstore. We are adding artwork in a similar way (same design tool) and each line item would be a different product. I understand there would be some things we would need to do manually like allowing or turning off product colors. We currently are building a quote to show the customer what we are doing before we build the store. It is much easier for staff to build a quote than it is a webstore.
