Custom date range for dashboard

Right now the dashboard is a little weird. We don't use it because of the date ranges offered. 24 hours is an odd thing to measure where yesterday, today, month to date are much more common. I would at the very least like a custom option so I can run those in the dashboard. So if I want to see week to date, I can see that. Last 24 hours means I have to wait until after business hours to see real data.
