Override the "Add to cart behaviour when out of stock" feature when in Business Hub
Under ConsiderationWe recently turned on the "Add to cart behaviour when out of stock" feature, so that affiliate stores customers were not able to add products to their cart which were out of stock (on-hand stand and supplier inventory). This is a great feature and saves us lots of time having to contact customers to explain they have purchased something which is not available.
However, this feature is also applied in Business Hub. I had an instance today when building a quote where i received the below message. I would like to see an override button in Business Hub which says "Add out of stock item to order". We are in direct contact with customers and would let them know of the stock delay. In most cases, stock is replenished fairly quickly, so most customers are prepared to wait.
