Blank Product Filter Widget

The Blank Product Filter Widget should be available on all pages and not just the system product page. It limits the ability to have subcategory pages with filter options and creates an inconvenience and extra work for a developer to code a filtering option into the pages its not currently able to be used on.

  Expanding Blank Product Filter Widget Functionality
  The current of functionality of the blank product filter widget restricts its use to the Products page only.

  We'd like to explore the possibility of enabling this widget on custom pages as well. This would provide greater flexibility in how we present product filtering options to users across the website.
