Show Internal Notes in Production Screen

Order Internal Notes should show in the Production Screen right below where it says Internal Notes - see attached.
At the moment, only line item Production notes show in this section, not Internal Notes as it suggests.
Our sales team put print instructions that apply to the whole order in the Internal Notes.

Thanks Cristofer but this requires the production team to click to view rather than them being visible by default like they used to be. The functionality was much better before this change.

Niki Merrett Changes were made because it was not clear before as to what was a production note vs what was an order note. Production screen panel used to show a mix of both whereas the order panel only showed order notes. We would get support requests asking why some notes were missing from the order screen. Once we implemented the change for production internal notes to carry across re-orders a distinction needed to be made or it would have resulted in further confusion (why do these notes copy over and these not).
Would it help you if Order Notes tab was the one open by default instead of Order Details? Perhaps we can look at adding a setting to control the default tab.

Niki Merrett forgot to mention, do your sales staff know how to add production notes from the order screen? Perhaps they could apply print instructions as item production notes instead of as order notes? One benefit of doing this would be those print instructions would carry across to future re-orders.

Hi Cristofer, yes if the notes tab was default that would be great, and then I guess we could type Print notes in all caps so they stand out from Order notes.
Yes they do know how to add production notes but they only apply per line item and some orders have multiple line items so that would be a big job to copy and paste the same comment over and over.
The notes are things like: Please print as big as possible, or Please do not resize any art, or Please print 3cm higher than shown in the mockup.
They apply to the whole order, not the individual line items.
Does that make sense?
