Related Products Automation

There already exists the ability to add a related product (for example a women's equivalent to a men's style) but it could be improved in two ways. First, it should automatically add the product you were adding a related to in a reciprocal fashion.  If you say B is related to A, then it should automatically relate A to B.  As it is, you have to edit each related product individually.  Second, and even more importantly, there must be some data field at least in the SanMar database that already has this type of information.  I know that it works on my simple company store provided by SanMar.  It already "knows" which products are related to one another - no action on my part required.
