Alert when inventory is being used
Under ConsiderationI think this is more of an issue than anything. Right now when an order is placed that has inventory, the order moves right to production. There is no alert or email to pull the items, it just goes to production. It would be great to set an email address when something needs to be pulled or better yet have a inventory PO be raised so we know to pull the products from our inventory.

That's a good idea. Currently we just make a PO for it and it goes to our Receiving Dept. I'm not sure how that would work with inventory though, I'm not very familiar with that.

Yes yes yes! We would love to use the inventory feature, but it isnt feasible because there isnt any notification when checking in the Purchase order that we need to pull the inventory we have on hand for an order.

I have worked around this feature by printing the inventory pull list while printing the production worksheet. I technically don't know that I need to pull inventory, unless I check in the receiving tab in production or click on the print inventory pull sheet. I however feel that there should be an inventory alert as well. I have attached an image of what I see. I see the error message as an alert only when the inventory does not fulfill the entire order. I feel that this should not be listed as an error though, because to us it is not an error. We just need to pull from inventory and place an order for the remainder of the order. I feel this function would better be served by having an "Inventory Pull Alert" that pops up whether you have inventory to supply the entire order or only 1 piece. Like I made in the attachment. Otherwise, I feel that the Inventory Pull tab should only populate if we have inventory to pull. If this wou ld work, I would also suggest to have this tab to be a different color or highlighted in some way.
