This is a very important and wildly requested feature for my affiliates. The fulfillment center cannot absorb all of the discounts and none being applied to the commissions. Since the affiliates are using coupon codes to drive their sales the coupon codes need to be able to discount against their commissions.

    Thank you

Hey Niki Merrett, do you see any issue with a discrepancy between discount set on the coupon and available commission to discount in this scenario?

Let's say you create a 20% coupon code but the commission on an item is only 15% of the item, do you foresee any issue with the discount amount being less than configured?

Good question - I think the affiliate would have to request the coupon code as the Fulfilment store is the only one that can create them, am I right?

So then this could be checked when creating the code and the code would only be valid on that store. I was thinking of only allowing them to be a $ amount, eg $5.

Even if the current coupon set up could affect their commission as well as ours, that would be an improvement. As I understand it, they still get paid the full commission?

If the affiliate is requesting a coupon code and the fulfillment center is willing to share the discount, is this something you can be included as an option while building the coupon? A check box to share versus only affiliate burden.

Here is a request from one of my affiliate customers:

I’d like to do 2 coupon codes:

-One that would be at cost for our employees to get gear.

-The other would be half the markup.. so if the markup is 8 dollars then its only 4 dollars with the coupon code. This will be for our alumni.

This another reason why we need more flexibility in controlling how coupon codes are created and deducted from pre-decorated or custom decorated affiliate websites. Having fulfillment centers take the entire brunt of coupon codes does not make sense

What solution do you have for this? I have the same issue. I want the coupon only affect the commission not the cost price for me as a fulfiller.

Any update on creating an affiliate based coupon code that does not affect fulfillment costs?

Idea of coupon up to $10 Dollars Off or Up to 20% Off would be quite good solution. Than if we could give coupons which we adjust 0-100% off from comission, it also have problem if there is different comissions in products. Than one solution could be that there is option for add also max fixed discount/product. If you have products which have 2-10$ comission and you like to give max 5$ discount /product. You could add 100% discount from comission but max 5$ off from product. Than some products are without comission but some have little comission.
