Allow Same Design that is Screen Printed Or Embroidered to be placed on different garment colors or items
Under ConsiderationWe cater to our customers needs and each order is unique in it's own way. We vary rarely get an order where all garments are the same color or model number or all embroidered hats are using the same design get stitched on the same colorway or model number. Here is a typical order assuming our minimum for screen printing is 24 pieces:
- 12 White 5000's
- 6 Safety Green 2400's Long Sleeve
- 6 White 2400's Long Sleeve
In this scenario our shopping cart doesn't allow any of these items to be added to our cart even though the customer is wanting the same design printed on all 24 pieces. This same thing doesn't work even if a different shirt color is needed in the same model number (12 white 5000's and 12 grey 5000's). How is this not included?
This also applies to embroidery. We have customers that want 3-6 of each color hat but the software doesn't recognize that the same design is being used and our customer either leaves or calls us.

ABSOLUTELY, we are definitely lacking here too.. it also makes it VERY hard to train, because we have to teach our employees to get the old price books out and reprice.

This feature has been pushed for a long time (Several years) and was the highest rated fix on the old feature request site. I have recently been pushing to have it work this way, along with the DTG process.
They have told me that it requires a major rewrite of the software and that it has not been scheduled due to the amount of work it will take. This is a critical feature for almost everyone offering Embroidery.Hopefully we can get this to work in the way that it should. So that customers can at least add the variations to their order, I have had to reduce our Embroidery to allow 1pc orders instead of our 10pc MOQ. We still have customers come in and place orders for 1pc, which we need to reject. This is obviously not acceptable, but it's the only workaround I've been able to configure.
FYI. Months ago I did some analysis and found that when an item is duplicated the digitizing fees are sometimes duplicated also, this is also the case for Screen print setups. There is a Beta out now where this is being resolved. I haven't had the chance to test this fully, but it does seem to be resolved now.

This also needs to work with transfers of the same design on multiple line items.
