More accurate production planner

I think the production planner could be made more accurate with a few changes.

At the moment, if 25 orders are received in one day, Deco assigns a production date of X days later (determined by your settings). If 100 orders come in the next day, the system still assigns the same offset. In reality, this will create delays depending on actual output.

If the production setup allowed us to input more detail such as:

• Number of machines available

• Embroidery run speeds

• Heat press times

Deco could then estimate how long each job is likely to take, using the data in the order. 

For embroidery, Wilcom already provides a run time for each design. If this data could feed into Deco, the planner would give a much more accurate schedule than the current “X days from order date” rule.
