Display line item notes in the order template using a Liquid variable

Currently, there isn't a Liquid variable for the notes that can be added to a line item in an order. I would like to add this information to the order sheet, proof sheet and order slip templates.

As the data is already in the database it should be a simple job to create a variable to retrieve the data.

    Douglas Mackenzie that information is already included in the default order sheet template. If you customized your order sheet at some point you might not have received this change as your templates stop receiving updates once you decide to go custom. You would need to check the default template code and copy over any desired information onto your custom template.

    Thanks Cristofer. Helpdesk said the variable wasn't currently available. Here is their response:

    There isn’t a variable in the order template system that displays notes for individual order line items. The available variables, like order.formatted_invoice_note and order.formatted_customer_notes, only show notes for the entire order.
     
    Feel free to submit a suggestion on our Feature Requests Board. Note that while the request board is used to gauge customer demand for features and taken into consideration for future platform updates, submitting a request does not guarantee implementation.
