Easy multiple categorisation of decorated products

When you create a blank product, you can easily tick which categories /folders and sub folders you want that item to be available in.

 

On a affiliate store/ or any store where you create decorated products - this feature is not available at the stores level.. you can't categorise your newly created decorated product into more than one category on that store without having to clone the product and recategorise that cloned version into the other category/ies.

 

This is very clunky and should be an easy fix,  simply copying the categorisation function available on the blank product level to a decorated product level within a particular store.

    OMG yes this drives me nuts. Would be so much better if decorated product organization was more similar to blank product organization for sure. Voted!

    totally agree, just has to be the same as the blank product listing where you can categorise in more than one place on that particular decorated store... currently we have to clone EVERY product each time we just want to list it in a new category - which sucks for all the unisex products that can be male or female!

    Yes! Just came here to add this and saw it was suggested. We are also adding a "New" category but need them in the specific category as well.

    totally agree - it should be relatively straightforward to copy what already works for blank product multiple categorisation but sadly its just been overlooked...

    Jason Hazlehurst A subset of DecoNetwork users who opted into beta are already on DecoNetwork 8.6. Wider rollout should begin in the coming weeks, an upgrade to 8.6 button will soon be made available via the Admin area.
