Add Recipient Email to Shipping Details area for Ship Station automated updates, Please
Under ConsiderationWhen we write up orders in Business Hub we deal with Division heads that have us send the finished order to a different recipient. We use the Shipping Details section to do this. Is there a way that you can add a recipient email address field in this section that will allow the recipient to recieve the Ship Station updates in lieu of the account owner. The recipient is normally the one wanting to know where their package is and this feature would keep them from bothering their boss for tracking information once we ship the order.
As it is now we have to go into Ship Station and replace the Division Chief with the recipients email when they could simply be CC'd by adding a field that will transfer to Ship Station at the time the order is API communicated to them helping alieviate the number of steps to accomplish this task and sometimes forgetting to do it.
I'm not opposed to the Account holder / Division boss being notified of this going on but would like to take the pressure off of them when we can just add an email for the recipient so they can be included in shipping updates via Ship Station.
