Ability to rotate decoration areas on a product

Occasionally, product images are slightly off angle which causes the mockup to look overly artificial. We mitigate this by rotating the individual designs when decorating the product but that results in the production file including those rotations as well.

The ability to add rotation to decoration areas when setting up the product views could solve this issue. The rotation would be for visual purposes only and would display this way in the designer and on generated mockup previews but the underlying decoration area would still be straight. The system could then generate production files without unnecessary rotation.

Hey Sylvan Faber the request as originally written was not really doable. I've rewritten your request to something that would make sense. I can't speak to how difficult it would be to implement but the updated request will help you with this being more likely to get considered in the future.
