Ability to search for a customer or company when posting payments

I think it would be useful, when posting payments, to be able to search for a certain customer or company's name. As it is, the list can only be sorted, not filtered or searched, like the overall orders list. For example, if I receive multiple cheque payments from multiple companies, I have to manually scroll through the list in order to find each one in alphabetical order, which is inefficient. The only other option is to search for the customer or order in another list and post each payment company by company or customer by customer.
