Sync print file in Dropbox (Total quantity instead of just one)
Under ConsiderationWe use the Deco Dropbox folder as the hot-folder of one of our RIP software (DTF) so, as soon as an order is placed on one of our stores, the print file is received in the Dropbox (hot-folder) and added to the print job by the RIP... At some point, the DTF operator sends the job to print but the heat-press operator will soon find that prints are missing on the roll for any item that has a quantity greater than one piece within the same order! This is obviously because print files are only synced once on the Dropbox as Deco assume someone will duplicate according the the ordered quantity.
In an ideal automated workflow, it would be great to have an option (in Decoration Processes/Production Settings I guess) to get the print files duplicated in the Dropbox as many time as ordered so the printed job will have the correct quantity of prints.
Hope it makes sense!

Hi Sylvan, how do you separate your DTF jobs out in the hot folder so that your RIP knows to only add DTF jobs please?

We use the AJS (Automatic Job Sorter) from Digital Factory to sort print files based on their file name as, with the Dropbox sync, they end with the short deco process name (-DTF).
