Hey Timothy Pipp this will not be addressed. The design breakdown popup allows accessing source artwork for uploaded designs, not for text which is created in the designer. Production files can be accessed from the production section once the order reaches that stage.

Right, but this is the feature request section and I think it would benefit many to have it work the way I suggested. I understand it isn't planned yet but the idea does make sense. We often have to add text in deco to an existing design or text a customer added in deco - but we can't pull that design ahead of time to set up or make changes because of this. It has to make it through payment and approval before we can do anything. Would make more sense to have the ability to make the changes before all of that.

Lets say a customer selects a process for a quote that doesn't make sense. Like embroidering a full back or something. They add a logo and text. Now because we can't simply change the process, we have to download the art and reupload it under the right process. This would allow us to simply do that.

Timothy Pipp Downloading text elements would not allow you to change the process. Using your example: downloading for embroidery would output EMB or DST files which could not be used for any other process. Using another example let's say the text was added for DTG, the download would be a raster file. If re-uploaded for another process the end result may not be the right resolution (if the new process has different production DPI) and you would loose the ability to edit the text because it would be a flattened image.

Have you considered setting terms (COD, NET 30) on your orders that would allow them to flow into production without taking upfront payment?

Cris raises a good point here Tim!

Your customers can finalize an order an not pay for it. You then have access to it and can edit it as you please! They can pay once the order is complete OR once you send it back to them for payment before you produce it!
