Clear Up the Confusion: Why Customers Think They're Paying Sales Tax Twice

I would like to suggest an improvement to the invoice display to help clarify the sales tax calculation for customers. Currently, the sales tax is shown both in the line items and at the bottom of the invoice. Some customers are confused by this and believe they are being charged tax twice, which can lead to misunderstandings and dissatisfaction.

To improve the clarity of the invoice, I recommend:

1. Consolidating Sales Tax Information: Display the tax amount only once on the invoice, either in the line items or at the bottom, but not both. This will help eliminate any confusion for the customers.

2. Clear Labeling: If the tax is displayed in the line items, include a brief explanation (e.g., “Sales Tax Included in Total”) in the tax summary section at the bottom to avoid double-counting concerns.

I believe this change will improve customer satisfaction by making the invoice easier to understand and ensuring transparency in tax charges.
