Show Surcharge Total before entering payment

Hey DecoNetwork,
We love using the payment link (it’s our preferred method) because it automatically adds the 3% CC surcharge and shows the customer the real total.
But when someone is standing at the counter and we take a manual credit card payment, DECO makes us hit OK before we can easily see the total with the surcharge included. So we end up doing the math/extra clicks just to tell the customer what they’ll actually pay—especially if they’re deciding between card vs. cash/check.
And here’s the scary part: the other day I accepted the payment in DECO, ran the card on our terminal… and it declined. I thought “no problem, I’ll just send the payment link.” Nope—DECO already showed it as paid. (Thankfully they had another card.)
Ask/Fix: Can we please have DECO show the total with the surcharge right on the payment screen before we hit OK?

to avoid the surcharge. This will also allow us to run the cc transaction on our POS CC reader and then accept the payment once it goes through.

I agree 100% with this. This is something that needs to be fixed. You either need to have a calculator to figure out the total ahead of time or swipe the card before you have the actual total. Both are not ideal.
