Production time for a blank product shorter than for a decorated product

We sell blanks and decorated products. When a customer orders the product blank, they get the same ship date as if it were decorated. In other words, we produce in 5 days, but could ship the blank in 24 hours.

Can the decoration process initiate an additional set of production days?
