it would be good to have a button where you can pop an account on hold when they are over credit limit, so they can't place anymore orders until they are paid up.

Yes, Needed! Specifically where they can access their account and make a payment, but cannot place any new orders.

This would be good, but please do allow Admin to override it for certain accounts if needed. We work with schools and sometimes we have to make exceptions

Yes, needed! When customers exceed credit limit or placed on CC terms after they have exceeded term agreements, they never have to pay on the old orders. We need to stop customers from bypassing payment requirements.
