Rush Order Fees

Rush order fees may be applied to an order to have the order expedited and pushed into and through your production process in a faster-than-normal turnaround. These fees should match your business processes for handling rush orders. Rush orders can be selected in Business Hub for orders and quotes, or selected as a checkout option for web store customers.

Prerequisites

• You must have administrator access to use this feature

To Configure Rush Order Fees:

1. Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
2. Browse to Admin > Settings.
3. Select Rush Order Fees.

   

   

   The main work area displays already configured rush order fees or the option to create your first rush order fee. Existing rush order fees may be deleted or edited.

   
4. Click Edit to edit an existing rush order fee or click Add Rush Order Fee to configure a new rush order fee. Existing and new rush order fees share the same configuration items.
5. Configure the settings as required:

   General

   • Active toggles the rush order fee on or off.
   • Name is used as a label identifying the fee in the configuration areas and in the checkout process for customers.
   • Description outlines in your own words the details of what a customer will receive when choosing the rush order fee as an option on their order.
     
   • Production time (days) sets how long the production of the rush order is expected to take. The value specified is used to calculate due dates and when combined with shipping, uses the shipper's estimate for delivery to calculate an estimated time of arrival to customers.
   • Cutoff Order Time after this time any rush orders will be considered to be received on the following business day.
   • Minimum Quantity and Maximum Quantity define the quantity limits of your rush order processes.
     
   • Set the order as a priority order when ticked, will automatically flag all Internet orders using this Rush Order Fee as a priority order. (This setting does not affect orders placed through Business Hub).
     

     Alert icons will be displayed next to orders in Business Hub allowing you to easily identify priority orders and rush orders.

     
   • Pricing can be either a flat rate or a percentage:
     • Flat rate is a fixed dollar value, as set in the Flat rate fee box. The fee may be applied as a Price per item if enabled.
       
     • Percentage Value is a percentage-based fee as set in the Percentage box. The fee can be applied to the Total decoration price, the Total blank product price, or the Total decorated product price as you see fit.
       • Minimum Fee will be applied to the order instead of the percentage fee if the percentage fee is less than the minimum fee.
       

   Store availability

   Click on the Store availability inner menu item to edit the availability settings for the rush order fee. Availability settings let you configure the stores or groups of stores where the rush order fee can be used.

   

   These settings apply to storefronts only. This means that team members can still use any rush order fee in Business Hub.

   • Global: lets you toggle the global availability of the rush order fee.
     • This is available in all stores by default: select this option to make this rush order fee available in all storefronts.
     • This is not in any store by default: select this option to hide the availability of this rush order fee from the storefronts.
   • Store Group: determines which stores can access the rush order fee as determined by their group setting. You can see what groups have access set and edit them or click Add Rule to create a new group-based rule. The rules will either specifically include or exclude the group from access to the rush order fee.
   • Store: sets availability on the basis of explicitly denying or allowing specific stores access to the rush order fee.
     

     Click on the Add Rule button to select the stores to configure availabilty rules for.

     (D) seen after the store name indicates that the store has been deleted.

6. When you are done, click Save.
