What is the difference between test and live mode?

You can run your DecoNetwork site in two modes - Test Mode and Live Mode. Here are the differences:

Test Mode

Test mode is a staging environment for the purpose of testing functionality. All orders that are placed are test orders and all payments that are made are fake. Test credentials are used to simulate payments.

By placing test orders, you can review the customer experience of your website. You can also check if your store is set up correctly and working as you expected, including shipping, taxes, custom forms, and notification emails.

Live Mode

Live mode is a production environment where all orders placed and transactions made are real. In live mode, your website will accept real payments. If you are satisfied that your site is set up correctly and you are ready for production, simply switch to live mode.
