Disable blank product purchase from a store's product listing page

Welcome to our tutorial on managing product purchase options. In this guide, we'll show you how to disable the purchase of blank products from your product listing page by hiding the "Add to Cart" button.

You can control whether customers can buy blank products through the global Blank Product Display settings. If you choose to allow purchases of blank products, the "Add to Cart" button will be visible on the product listing page. However, if you prefer to prevent customers from adding blank products directly to their cart, you can remove this button from the listing page.

By hiding the "Add to Cart" button, customers will be directed to the Online Designer when they click on the product. This ensures they cannot add a blank product to their cart without first personalizing it. Note that in the Online Designer, customers still have the option to purchase the product without any additional decorations if desired.

This tutorial will guide you through hiding the "Add to Cart" button on the product listing page, which will prevent customers from purchasing blank products directly and encourage them to customize their selections.

1. Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
2. If you are the Fulfillment Center, browse to Admin > Websites.

   

   

   Select Manage for the website you want to configure.

   
3. Select Edit Website, then Website Pages.
   

   The Website Editor will load in the Admin area.

   
4. Click on the PAGES button in the Website Editor Toolbar.
   
5. Click on the Products page tab.
   
6. Mouse over the Blank Product Listing Widget on the page.

   The widget's controls will be displayed.

7. Click on the down arrow beside the Blank Product Listing Widget icon.
8. Choose the Blank Product Listing Settings item from the drop-down menu.
   

   The Blank Product Listing popup will be displayed.

   
9. Click on the Design tab.
   
10. Select "Don't Show" from the Add to Cart Button dropdown list.
    
11. Click OK to apply the changes.
12. Click on the Save button and then click on the Publish button at the right of the Page Settings Bar.
