Set whether coupons can discount tax amount

If you allow coupons to be used on your website(s), you can choose whether or not coupon discounts can include the sales tax that an order is subject to.

Prerequisites

• You must have administrator access to use this feature

To Configure Tax Settings:

1. Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
2. Browse to Admin > Settings > Taxes.

   Select Tax Settings.

   

   

   The tax settings are displayed in the main work area.

3. Tick/untick the Apply Coupon Discounts to Tax Amount checkbox in the General Settings.
   

   Tick the checkbox if you want coupon discounts to also apply to the orders tax amount.

   Untick the checkbox if you want coupon discounts to not apply to the orders tax amount.

   NOTE: Tax is always calculated on the full pre-discount amount, regardless of this setting.

4. Click Save.
