Tracking email communications in DecoNetwork helps you stay informed about what has been sent to your customers and when. When email history recording is enabled, DecoNetwork stores email correspondence so you can review it directly within Business Hub.
Order-related emails are recorded against the relevant quote or order and are also visible in the customer record.

Prerequisites
- You must have Administrator, Sales Manager, or Sales Team permissions
- Email history recording must be enabled in Admin → Settings → Email & Order Templates → Correspondence Settings

Email history gives you full visibility into customer communication, helping you confidently manage orders and support requests.

How to view email history for a quote or order
You can view all email correspondence linked to a specific quote or order, including order emails, payment request emails, and note notification emails sent from Business Hub.
- Log into your DecoNetwork account.

Browse to Business Hub → Quotes or Business Hub → Orders.

Click View to open the quote or order.

Click on the Email History tab.
The Email History tab displays all emails linked to the quote or order.
Each email record includes a timestamp, sender, recipient, subject, and a summary of the message.
Email records are displayed from newest to oldest. You can click the subject line to open and review the full email content.
A flag icon indicates whether the customer has read the email. Unread emails appear with a red flag, while read emails show a green flag with the read timestamp.A counter on the tab shows the number of email records that have not been viewed. Unviewed email records are displayed in bold text. You can click on the blue subject text to view the email content.
Understand where emails are stored
Email history is organized so you can view communication either in the context of an order or across the entire customer relationship.
- Quote/Order Email History: shows emails related to that specific order
- Customer Email History: shows all emails sent to the customer
The customer record includes:
- All order-related emails (also visible on the quote/order)
How to block email notifications for a quote/order:
You can block email notifications for a specific quote or order if needed.
- Log into your DecoNetwork account.
- Browse to Business Hub → Quotes or Orders.
- Open the quote or order
- Click on the Email History tab.

Click on the block emails action at the end of the header row.
Use the Block Emails action to stop notifications for a specific quote or order.
The action link will toggle to read "unblock emails". Click on the unblock emails action to unblock email communications for the quote/order.

- Enable email history early: ensure all emails are recorded from the start
- Use order records for context: focus on order-specific communication
- Confirm before troubleshooting: check email history before investigating delivery issues
Troubleshooting
- No email history visible? Ensure email recording is enabled in Correspondence Settings
- Email not found on order? Check the customer record. It may still be recorded there
- Customer did not receive email? If it appears in Email History, ask them to check spam or filtered folders
