Prerequisites
- You must have administrator access to your DecoNetwork site.
- You must have already added and successfully connected a live shipping carrier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) to your system.
Why Add Live Shipping Methods
Live shipping methods fetch real-time rates and options directly from the carrier based on actual destination, weight, and shipping preferences. This ensures that customers or B2B users see accurate, up-to-date pricing and service choices at checkout or during quoting in Business Hub.

- Supports multiple methods per carrier (e.g., Economy, Express, Overnight).

Add live shipping methods for a live shipping carrier
- Log into your DecoNetwork Website.
- Browse to Admin > Settings > Shipping.

Select Shipping Methods.
The Shipping Methods page is displayed in the work area.

Select Manage Live Shipping Carriers in the top actions toolbar.
The Live Shipping Carriers page will be displayed showing a list of your currently added carriers.

Find the connected carrier you want to configure and click on the Choose Methods button beside it.
The Choose Methods button will only be enabled if you have successfully tested the connection with your credentials.
The Edit Live Shipping Carrier Methods page is displayed.
- Tick the checkboxes for each of the service levels that you want to enable.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

- Enable only the services you support operationally to avoid customer confusion.
- Consider renaming method labels to be clearer for your audience.
- Review method order to highlight your preferred shipping options first.
Troubleshooting
- “Choose Methods” is disabled: Ensure the carrier connection has passed the connection test.
- Shipping methods are not showing at checkout: Verify the dispatch address and that the carrier supports rate services for your region.
- Rates return as $0: Check package defaults and confirm the carrier supports the selected services for the given weight/destination.
FAQs
Do I need to add shipping methods after connecting a carrier?
Yes. Connecting a carrier allows DecoNetwork to access the carrier's services, but you must still select which methods you want to offer.
Can I change the enabled methods later?
Yes. You can revisit Manage Live Shipping Carriers at any time to add or remove methods.
Will disabling a shipping method remove it from checkout?
Yes. Disabled methods immediately stop appearing in both checkout and Business Hub quoting.
