Is there a way to manage surcharges for larger sizes on a global level? I tried searching for information and found an old blog post about surcharges on larger products, but the link isn't working. We've been noticing surcharges applied to larger sizes when orders come through, and we want to prevent this from happening. However, I can't find a centralized place to adjust this setting. I would prefer not to have to change each individual product manually if it can be avoided.

Mark Sheppard, you can manage surcharges for larger sizes at a global level by adjusting the master size list. This list allows you to configure the available sizes, variants, and tax exemptions across your entire system. For detailed instructions, please refer to the Sizes article. Additionally, you can configure sizing for defined Product Groups. This lets you apply size-related settings to specific groups of products without having to edit each product individually. For information on configuring product group sizing, check out the Product Groups article.

I'm still struggling to figure out where the extra charges on our larger garments are coming from. I went into the master size table, and there were size variants with prices associated with them, but they were all set to $0. I even unchecked "size affects price." Nothing seems to have changed. So I checked in the product groups, and specifically apparel, and everything was set to $0 in there as well. The price increases seem like they're set to % and dollar amount or something strange, too. For example, we have a hoodie that has a retail price set of $30. A 2XL comes up with $33.82, but then 3XL and up show up as $35.82. And it seems to happen with any product, shirt, hoodie, whatever... always at size 2XL and above. I can't change the size surcharge at the individual product level because it says "not available when using SKU pricing."

Mark Sheppard, you can disable SKU pricing by adjusting the settings in the Pricing tab.

    1. Navigate to the Pricing tab in your product settings.
    2. Click the cog icon next to Blank Product Price.
    3. Change the setting from "Use Supplier Base Cost + Markup" to "Specify a Blank Product Price".
    4. From here, you can choose to either Use a Single Price for all sizes or set a different price per color/type if needed.

By default, the blank product price for catalog products is set to the Supplier Base Cost + Markup. If you opt to change this, please be cautious, as it’s possible to set a price that results in a loss on each sale. You can refer to the Product Pricing article for more details on configuring this setting.
